Catriona Robertson is an artist and activist committed to justice and peace, including interreligious dialogue and reconciliation. Her creative practice emerged from a desire to find more open and invitational ways to explore community, curiosity and coexistence beyond the limits of language.
After spending time engaging with different frameworks for conflict reconciliation, Catriona turned to art as a more exploratory and embodied form of expression. She initially worked with clay before being drawn to the bold clarity of linocut printing, whose directness and strength continue to shape her practice.
For Catriona, the physical process of printmaking is absorbing and transformative. Her work reflects a belief that art can soften boundaries, create space for reflection and open new possibilities for connection - especially where words alone may not suffice.
