Alongside our Ramadan and Eid aerial lights, London’s first Iftar Food Trail, and a brand-new ground-level installation, we’re inviting people to get involved from home and within their communities through our Community Lantern Project.

Lanterns, or fanoos, have long been a symbol of hope and light during Ramadan, illuminating streets and homes in a dazzling display of colour. Inspired by the vibrant traditions of places like Cairo - where children run through the streets singing old Ramadan songs with lanterns in hand - we invite you to take part in our Community Lantern Project.
This year, we’ve designed a special lantern template for you to decorate at home or within your community. Whether your creation is traditional or a modern interpretation, we encourage you to share your creativity with us!
