SHARED LIGHT - JASON ROSE

Jason Rose has been a professional artist and art educator for over thirty years, undertaking private and commercial commissions and exhibiting both in the UK and internationally.  Jason has taught in schools, colleges and adult education centres, including the Barbican Education Department, and has maintained a studio at Valentines Mansion in Ilford for over sixteen years, where he continues his painting practice and leads private art classes.

Jason is Jewish, and while his heritage informs his perspective, his spiritual path is non-denominational. As a result, his work explores themes of consciousness, unity and humanity’s connection to the natural world in ways that resonate across religions and cultures. Environmental, social and spiritual concerns are central to his practice, reflecting a belief in the importance of restoring balance and awareness within creation.

Alongside painting, Jason is also a musician and composer, often incorporating sound vibration patterns into his visual work as a bridge between music and image.
