Max Jaeckel-Parker is an abstract painter whose practice explores the interplay of colour, texture and emotion. Inspired by his grandmother, an artist whose work in painting and sculpture he never had the chance to encounter personally, Max carries forward a creative legacy shaped by curiosity and experimentation.
His compositions investigate the relationship between form and feeling, often seeking to create a meditative visual experience that invites viewers to pause, look inward and reflect. Working intuitively, he balances structure and spontaneity to explore how contrast and harmony coexist within abstract space.
Alongside painting, Max is a singer-songwriter, and music often informs his visual work. At times, a painting may evolve in dialogue with a song, reflecting his broader interest in rhythm, mood and creative expression across disciplines.
