
Meg Wroe is a professional artist who exhibits regularly at Candid Arts Islington, the Pie Factory in Margate and Espacio Gallery in Shoreditch. A graduate of the University of the Arts London, her work is shaped by a deep sense of interconnectedness and a concern for the climate crisis.
Through painting, Meg seeks to capture moments of wonder - whether in the light falling across trees or in the face of a friend. In recent years she has developed a series of icons of three angels, known as the Trinity or Hospitality of Abraham, created in the tradition of Russian iconographer Andrei Rublev. Her works from this series have been installed in St Paul’s Cathedral, Iona Abbey, a North London church and Southwark Cathedral.
Meg also created the Fingerprint Labyrinth installation, commissioned by Amnesty International to highlight the right to peaceful protest. Her practice continues to explore faith, justice and the shared threads that connect people and place.
